The three-story Mexico City space that previously housed Becerril Coca & Becerril, one of Mexico’s most prominent and oldest patent law firms, was dignified and traditional, but also increasingly tight and inefficient. Accordingly, zva Interiores designed a new 41,040-sq.-ft. (3,800-sq.-m.) office for the firm in the bustling Miguel Hidalgo borough comprising just two floors with larger floor plates, open workstations, and enclosed areas for confidential proceedings. While the composition is clearly modern, it incorporates timeless, traditional materials. This results in a sleek, clean and transparent facility that paradoxically can project trust, professionalism and permanence at the same time.
