At ZVA, as distinguished architects in Mexico, we are made up of stories, a large number of clients and awards that define us in the field of design excellence in Mexico. Here are some key points that shaped us as industry leaders.
1993
Firm foundation
ZVA is founded in New York City by the architects Sergio Zepeda (Mexico) and Monique Veraart (Holland).
1994
ZVA arrives to Mexico
The first ZVA office in Mexico is established in the city of Puebla.
2013
ONE Global Design
ZVA becomes the first and only office in Mexico that is part of ONE Global Design.
2016
Retirement of Sergio Zepeda and Monique
In 2016 Sergio Zepeda and Monique Veraart announced their retirement from the firm, making Isabel Lira a partner to lead one of the firm's two divisions.
2017
ZVA Interiores foundation
ZVA Interiores is founded with the succession of the firm's rights in favor of Isabel Lira as Owner and Director.
2020
ZVA Interiores y Arquitectura
The name of the firm is changed from 'ZVA Interiores' to 'ZVA Interiores y Arquitectura'.
